Our Story

In 2022 (2079 B.S.), a group of enthusiastic youths from Tilathi Koiladi, Saptari came together with a shared dream of creating a platform where young people could use their skills, energy, and ideas to contribute to social change. Many of them had been involved in local awareness and community activities from their school and neighborhood level, and they realized the need for a dedicated organization that could bring together youths, children, and community members to work collectively.

From several meetings and discussions, the idea of forming Dalan Youth Club (DYC) was born. It was officially registered at the District Administration Office, Saptari, and later affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, National Youth Council and NGO Federation, Saptari Chapter.

Since its establishment, DYC has created a platform for children, youths, and disadvantaged groups to engage in meaningful activities that promote education, empowerment, and social development. We work closely with schools, local government, and community members to address issues such as child rights, women’s participation, education, health, environment, and disaster preparedness.

DYC is not just an organization—it is a movement of local youths who believe in collective action for positive change. We provide a safe and inclusive space for young people to learn, share, and lead, while also ensuring that marginalized voices are heard and respected. We value the energy, ideas, and commitment of the new generation to build a just, equitable, and progressive society.
